The Brandy Daisy is a classic coktail dating back to the mid/late 1800s; this version is the oldest known version from "Professor" Jerry Thomas.

Brandy Daisy

 60 ml (2 oz) brandy
 2 dashes rum
 2 dashes orange Curacao
 22.50 ml (¾ oz) freshly squeezed lemon juice
 3 dashes simple syrup
 30 ml (1 oz) soda water

Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Add all ingredients, except the soda water, to the shaker and shake until well-chilled.

Strain into a cocktail glass.

Top with soda water.
