An attractive and tasty gin sour with a red wine float.

Gin & Cabinet Sour

 45 ml (1½ oz) London Dry Gin
 22.50 ml (¾ oz) Cointreau Triple Sec
 22.50 ml (¾ oz) freshly squeezed lemon juice
 22.50 ml (¾ oz) simple syrup
 22.50 ml (¾ oz) Cabernet Sauvignon

Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Add all ingredients (except the wine) and shake until well-chilled.

Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass.

Carefully float the red wine (pour slowly over the back of a barspoon which is not quite in contact with the surface of the drink.
