The modern Moonshine Martini is adapted from a recipe in Henry Craddock's The Savoy Cocktail Book, published in 1930.

Moonshine

 45 ml dry gin
 15 ml Maraschino cherry liqueur
 30 ml extra dry vermouth
 2.50 ml absinthe

Add ice to a mixing jug.

Add all ingredients and stir until chilled.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with a maraschino cherry.
