Created in 1934 when it was mixed together by Herbert Quack, bartender at the Benjamin Franklin Hotel in Philadelphia and named for his wife Elizabeth.
Add ice to a mixing jug.
Add all ingredients and stir gently until well mixed and chilled.
Strain into a cocktail or Nick & Nora glass.
