A Manhattan variant, created by Julie Reiner 2009 for her Clover Club, located near the Park Slope neighbourhood in Brooklyn.

The Slope

 60 ml (2oz) rye whiskey
 20 ml (⅔ oz) Punt e Mes
 10 ml (⅓ oz) apricot brandy
 1 dash Angotura Aromatic Bitters
 Maraschino cherry for garnish

Half-fill a mixing jug with ice.

Add all ingredients and stir until well-chilled.

Strain into a coupe and garnish with a skewered maraschino cherry.
