This is rumoured to be Queen Elizabeth's favourite cocktail which she partake of before lunch. Gin and Dubonnet was a favourite of the Queen Mother, a preference which obviously influenced her daughter's palete.

This was our 100th cocktail!
This is one of my all time favorites. I flip my recipe around a bit using
2 parts Dry Gin
1 part Dubonnet
Splash of Orange Juice served over crushed ice
Unfortunately it is difficult
to find Dubonnet here in Indiana. I buy a few bottles whenever I do find it. Mostly out of state
It’s not entirely the same, but a decent sweet vermouth could, in a pinch, substitute for the Dubonnet.
