1st #cocktail of #FridayNightCocktails on the 8th July: Mango Daybreak

This cocktail is often served for breakfast, so we hope we’ll be forgiven for presenting it a little late in the day.

Mango Daybreak

A breakfast cocktail popular for decades in the US, it was invented by Jim Berry in the 1970s.

 60 ml vodka
 120 ml mango juice
 15 ml grenadine
 Orange wheel for garnish

Half fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Add the vodka and mango juice to the shaker and shake until well chilled

Add the grenadine to a chilled cocktail glass.

Strain the shaken ingredients on top of the grenadine.

Garnish with an orange wheel.
