1st #cocktail of #FridayNightCocktails on 21st July: Crimson Cocktail

Our first cocktail is the Crimson Cocktail which combines gin from England and ruby port from Portugal, along with lime juice and grenadine syrup.

Crimson Cocktail

A dark red gin-based cocktail.

 45 ml dry gin
 22.50 ml ruby port
 15 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
 7.50 ml grenadine

Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Add all ingredients to the shaker, except the port, and shake until well-chilled.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Gently float the port on top.
