2nd #cocktail of #FridayNightCocktails on the 7th October: Bijou

Our second cocktail this evening is a variation of the Classic Bijou with proportions meant to closer match modern tastes. I actually prefer the original (classic) version of this cocktail.

A variation of the Classic Bijou with proportions meant to closer match modern tastes.

 45 ml dry gin
 30 ml sweet vermouth
 22.50 ml Green Chartreuse
 2 dashes orange bitters
 Maraschino cherry for garnish

Add ice to a mixing jug.

Add all ingredients and stir until well chilled.

Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Garnish with a maraschino cherry.
