Our third and final cocktail is the French Connection. A cocktail of unknown origin, and one of several to bear the name French Connection This one gets its name through the use of two French grape based alcohols; cognac and Lillet Blanc.

30 ml (1 oz) cognac
30 ml (1 oz) LIlle Blanc
1 dash Angostura Aromatic Bitters
1 dash orange bitters
15 ml (½ oz) honey syrup
Orange peel for garnish

Half-fill a mixing jug with ice.

Add all ingredients and stir until chilled.

Strain into a tumbler over fresh ice.

Garnish with a strip of orange peel.
