The Angry Canadian is a variation on the classic Old Fashioned which uses maple syrup instead of sugar. It was created in 2013 by a man named Steve Johnston in Calgary
50 ml Canadian rye whiskey
1 tsp maple syrup
2 dashes Aromatic Bitters
2 ice cubes
1 maraschino cherry

Pour 50ml of Canadian rye whiskey to a tumbler.

Add two dashes of aromatic bitters.

Add one teaspoon of maple syrup.
