Fiitchett, head bar steward at the Vancouver club, and first published in the 1925 About Town Cocktail Book; this is the actual recipe for the Vancouver, but for many years people were making a Fitcett and calling it a Vancouver[/b[. A fact which only came to light following a 2002 article in Canada’s Scout Magazine.

In 1919, the 19th Amendment gave women the ‘right to vote’ in America. My signature cocktail is for all those ladies out there – many of whom may not prefer rum based cocktails. I want my drink to change their perception and cast their vote in favour of BACARDÍ – the king of all rums.
