Tequila Fruit Cup

A tequila-based variant of the Pimm’s Cup; similar to, but more tangy than, the Old Tom Fruit Cup.

Ingredients

25 ml white tequila
25 ml orange Curacao
25 ml sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters
50 ml ginger ale
50 ml cola
1 slice orange
1 slice lemon
3 slices strawberry
1 sprig of mint

Directions

Pour all liquid ingredients into a highball glass.

Half-fill the glass with ice.

Add an orange or lemon slice and two/three mint leaves.

Fill the glass with ice.

Add remaining fruit slices and mint sprig to garnish.

Cherry Long Island Iced Tea

Cherry Long Island Iced Tea

A delicious cherry flavoured version of the Long Island Iced Tea.

Ingredients

15 ml dry gin
15 ml triple sec
15 ml vodka
15 ml white rum
15 ml white tequila
15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
15 ml freshly squeezed lime juice
30 ml cola (or more to taste)
6 cherries

Directions

Place the cherries in a cocktail shaker and muddle to release the juices.

Half fill the shaker with ice.

Add all liquid ingredients and shake until well chilled.

Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice.

Top off with cola.

Old Tom Fruit Cup

Quite a sweet Old Tom gin-based variant of the Pinn’s Fruit Cup.

Ingredients

25 ml Old Tom gin
25 ml Triple Sec
25 ml sweet vermouth
2 dashes Angostura Aromatic Bitters
50 ml ginger ale
50 ml cola
1 slice of lemon.
1 slice of orange
3 strawberry slices
Sprig of mint

Directions

Pour all liquid ingredients into a highball glass.

Half fill the glass with ice.

Add an orange or lemon slice and two/three mint leaves.

Fill glass with ice.

Add remaining fruit slices and mint sprig to garnish.

Calvados Fruit Cup

A variation of the Pimm’s Fruit Cup which is nearer to the recipe of the Rye Whiskey Fruit Cup.

Ingredients

25 ml calvados
25 ml Cointreau
25 ml sweet vermouth
2 dashes aromatic bitters
50 ml ginger ale
50 ml cola
2 lemon wheels
2 orange wheels
4 strawberry slices
1 spring of mint

Directions

Add all liquid ingredients to a highball glass.

Add a slice of lemon and two mint leaves.

Fill to the brim with ice and the rest of the garnish.

Made with Amarula Fruit and Cream Liqueur.

Ingredients

25 ml Amarula Fruit and Cream Liqueur
12.50 ml vodka
12.50 ml coffee-liqueur
Cola to top off
Maraschino cherry for garnish

Directions

Half fill a shaker with ice.

Add Amarula, vodka and coffee liqueur to the shaker and shake until well chilled.

Fill a highball glass with ice.

Strain shaker into the glass and top off with cola (pour slowly to avoid the cream liqueur curdling).

Garnish with a cherry.
