Our first cocktail is the Rum Sour, a tart and tasty cocktail. It’s best made with a quality dark rum; we used Pusser’s Gunpowder Proof Rum.
A simple three-ingredient classic which manages to be both sweet and tart; best made with a quality dark rum.
60 ml dark rum
22.50 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
22.50 ml simple syrup
1 lemon wheel
1 marashino cherry
1 mint sprig

Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Add all ingredients and shake until well-chilled.

Strain into a tumbler.

Garnish with lemon twist, maraschino cherry and sprig of mint. (optional)
