Recipe adapted from The Savoy ocktail Book, 1930, by Harry Craddock, but the cocktail first appeared in Charles S. Mahoney's 1905 The Hoffman House Bartender's Guide.
45 ml Fino sherry
45 ml dry vermouth
5 ml Maraschino cherry liqueur
2 dashes orange bitters

Half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice.

Add all ingredients and stir until well-chilled.

Strain into a chilled cocktail coupe.

Garnish with a lemon twist and olive on a skewer.
