Our first cocktail is the Valencia Cocktail (No. 2.), a classic cocktail from Harry Craddock’s 1930 The Savoy Cocktail Book.

The quintessential Christmas cocktail in England is the Bucks Fizz which we did last year. This classic cocktail from Harry Craddock seemed a good one along the same lines.

Our third and final cocktail is the B&B. The B&B cocktail dates back to Prohibition in the US; a simple combination of Benedictine DOM and Brandy (a good brandy is very strongly recommended), traditionally served with the brandy floating on the Benedictine.

I found this surprisingly good; it really does benefit from using a good quality brandy.

Our second cocktail is the Harvey Wallbanger, which is a variant of the Screwdriver, created in 1969 by the McKesson Imports Company, which enjoyed popularity in the 1970s. This cocktail benefits from using freshly squeezed orange juice.
