Our fourth drink of St Patrick’s Day on the 17th March is the Rory O’More. This cocktail is an Irish cousin to the Rob Roy and is a Manhattan variant.
Named after Rory O’More, renowned for being one of the four main organisers of the Irish Rebellion of 1641.
It is one of our non-green drinks for this St Patrick’s Day.

60 ml Irish whiskey
25 ml sweet vermouth
1 dash orange bitters

Add ice to a mixing jug.

Add all ingredients and stir until well chilled.

Strain into a cocktail glass.
The drink is named after Rory O'More, renowned for being one of the four main organisers of the Irish Rebellion of 1641, and a descendant of an Irish noble family and landowner. Also sometimes known as an Emerald.
