1st #cocktail of #FridayNightCocktails on 4th November: Bakewell Fizz

With some unexpectedly warm and sunny weather, I thought it appropriate to use the Bakewell Fizz for our first cocktail this evening.

I am busy this evening so the cocktails are coming from my “bank” of cocktails I’ve made and not posted yet. We’ve previously posted the Bakewell Tart shooter which shares a somewhat similar flavour palette with cherry liqueur and amaretto, but that uses Bailey’s Irish Cream whereas this evenings uses a sparkling rose wine.

Bakewell Fizz

A sparkling wine based cherry bakewell cocktail.

 30 ml cherry liqueur
 30 ml amaretto
 150 ml sparkling rose wine

Add the cherry liqueur to the champagne flute.

Slowly add the amaretto so it floats on top of the cherry liqueur.

Add the sparkling wine to the flute slowly so it floats on top of the amaretto.
