Our third and final cocktail is the A Fallen Apple. This cocktail is perhaps more suited to autumn, but we also thought it rounded out a great trio of apple cocktails.
This combines bourbon with the fresh taste of apple.
An apple bourbon cocktail which is great in autumn.
Core and peel a quarter of a red apple and cut into small pieces.
Add the apple to a cocktail shaker.
Add the bourbon, simple syrup, sugar and lemon juice to the shaker.
Muddle and mash the contents of the shaker as much as possible.
Add the apple juice and large handful of ice.
Shaker until well-chilled (approximately 30 seconds).
Strain into a tumbler over fresh ice.
Garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.
