We’ve also made the Brunswick variant which replaces the bourno with rye whiskey and the simple syrup with maple syrup.

Add the bourbon, lemon juice and simple syrup and shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a tumbler over fresh ice.
Gently pour the port over the back of a bar spoon so it floats on the surface.
