1st #cocktail of #FridayNightCocktails on 25th August: White Negroni

Our first cocktail is the White Negroni. Created at the VinExpo in 2001 by Wayne Collins using Plymouth Gin, this is a riff off the Negroni which replaces the sweet vermouth and Campari with white substitutes.

Created at the VinExpo in 2001 by Wayne Collins using Plymouth Gin, this is a riff off the Negroni which replaces the sweet vermouth and Campari with white substitutes.

 30 ml Plymouth Gin
 30 ml Gentian Liqueur (such as Suze)
 30 ml Lillet Blanc
 Pink grapefruit twist

Half-fill a mixing jug with ice.

Add all ingredients and gently stir until well-chilled.

Strain into a tumbler over a fresh block of ice.

Express the oils from the pink grapefruit twist over the glass and drop the twist into the glass.
